Strangers Don't Love Strangers

I found the website of another photographer today. He's quite well known but I had only heard 'of ' him and never really learned anything of 'why' he is so well know. When I went to his web site I was overcome with emotion at the beautiful, soul touching images.
I wrote him a letter, poetic and over flowing with emotion. I sent him love and appreciation for the beauty in his art.
He simply wrote back ' I don't know what to say.'
I had to laugh.
I guess strangers aren't supposed to love strangers.
And when they do, strangers don't know how to react.
It doesn't matter.
I still love him.
With all my heart and soul!

I love what you write, it touches my heart and brings to rememberence things I didn't know I knew. I agree with you. I don't think we are strangers anymore... as soon as you connect with another soul, a.s.a. you love someone, we are changed (as Fool's Crow said) forever, "I know you, we are brothers and sisters" "I Kin Ya" is what they say in the Education of Little Tree book. Grandmother, Bonnie Bee, would say to Grandfather, I kin ya, as they laid in bed and talked late at night. Her explaination of what it means is beautiful. Kin is family, folks you know and understand and love.
